Australian captain Mark Knowles and midfielder of the Netherland Ellen Hoog on 15 January 2015 were named as the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Player of the Year 2014 in men and women category, respectively.

• Rising-stars-of-the-year (Men): Gonzalo Peillat of Argentina

• Women’s Coach-of-the-year: Argentine Max Caldas, Coach of the Netherlands team
• Men’s Coach-of-the-year: Australian Ric Charlesworth, Coach of Australia team
